Artist's Description

On an evening drive near Amarillo, Tx I came upon this sunset Silhouetting modern power windmills with a water windmill set against the evening sky. If you look closley you can also see a crop cirle irrigation wheel near the base of the windmills. These elements together offer and unforgetable Texas Panhandle visual experience.

About Bill Hyde

Bill Hyde

Hello, my name is Bill Hyde. I have been interested in photography since I took a B&W photography class as an elective for my degree in Industrial Arts in the seventies. I taught High School Industrial Arts and Industrial Technology for thirty years before I retired in 2008. I have taught part time Engineering classes at WTAMU in Canyon, TX and the local ISD's when needed since I retired. I am happily married to my teenage sweetheart for over forty eight years and been blessed with two grown children and two amazing grandsons. We love to Garden and RV travel as much as possible whereupon I indulge my passion for landscape, travel, & nature photography. Currently I shoot with a Nikon D- 850FX with an 18-300 mm VR zoom lens....
